Motor vessels

We provide cover for all types of pleasure craft including yachts, powerboats, cruisers, sportsboats and RIBs from 7m (23 feet) up to a value of £10 million.

All boats must be based in the UK, Republic of Ireland, European or Mediterranean waters.

Cover includes:

  • £3million Third Party and Passenger Liability cover as standard.
  • Cover for theft of equipment from the outside of the boat, as well as from the inside.
  • Cover for frost damage to machinery.
  • Automatic cover for dinghies/tenders (not exceeding 16ft in length or £2000), outboard motors (not excedding 10HP) and personal effects up to 2% of vessel sum insured (minimum £500 – maximum £2500).
  • Free personal accident cover for owner and guests on board (up to £60,000 for any one event).
